THE HERD
how we raise our cattle
Our beef comes from 100% grass-fed and finished Wagyu-Angus cross cattle. Each animal is born and raised right here on our ranch, with absolutely no added hormones. Antibiotics are used only when necessary for animal welfare, and we carefully observe all withdrawal periods. The Wagyu-Angus cross is ideal for exceptional marbling, tenderness, and flavour. Grass-fed beef also offers higher levels of Omega-3s, promoting healthy brain function and supporting heart health.
From spring to fall, our cattle are rotationally grazed across nutrient-rich pastures and enjoy high-quality hay during the winter months. They have constant access to clean, fresh water from pumped sources, and we provide custom mineral supplements after testing our soil and water, along with salt blocks. This attention to diet and care allows our cattle to live healthy, stress-free lives before they are harvested. We partner with Den Boon Meats, a family-run, provincially inspected butcher in Monarch, Alberta, who shares our commitment to quality and care. From our pastures to their cutting boards, every step is handled with precision and respect, ensuring your beef arrives tender, flavourful, and ready for your table.
